Welcome to The Duke of Gloucester Pub

Welcome to Toronto’s most authentic British Pub. The Duke of Gloucester offers a huge range of draught beers, accompanied by a mixture of traditional English fare and International dishes. For nearly 30 years now the Duke has been home to many ex-pat regulars, some of which were there on the opening night, and still frequent. If you're looking for a real British pub, you have found it.

The Bar
The bar is undoubtedly the centerpiece of the pub. The solid oak bar was built in the UK and shipped over to Toronto in the 1970’s. The bar features three main sections all of which provide seating and common standing area, popular amongst the ex-pat regulars. Our staff, some of which hail from the UK, only add to the experience of visiting a real British pub.

The Lounge
The main lounge provides the warm, cozy feeling of a typical British pub. The wooden tables, chairs and bench seating, together with the football scarves, shirts and other memorabilia only add the to the feel. Our renowned jukebox features music from many famous UK bands and other well known popular music.
The Games Room
Our games room features the main darts area and pool table. For those of you that want to keep your golf swing in check, our games room also has the latest Golden Tee machine. If you fancy something a little more relaxing, there are a number of old classic board games behind the bar, ask you server for further details.

The Snug
The aptly named Snug room provides the ideal location for some privacy, small functions or business meetings. The entire pub is wireless enabling access to the Internet for those with computers. The Snug is available for bookings, however it is generally not available on Tuesdays as it is also used as a secondary darts area.
The Patio
Our heated roof top patio offers protection from the elements during the winter months, a retractable roof will ensure that no one will miss out on basking in the sunshine during the summer months. The patio can accommodate approximately 30-40 people and provides the patrons with music and even a television.
